My Debut Novel -
DRYAD
I’m thrilled to share that my first novel, Dryad, is now available! After years of work, rewriting, and relentless imagination, it’s finally out in the world – bold, immersive, and unashamedly high-concept science fiction.
"...intriguing series opener." — Kirkus Reviews
This isn’t just sci-fi – it’s a challenge to how we see ourselves.
Dryad asks big questions:
What if we’re not as important as we think?
What if the future doesn’t belong to us?
And what if the path forward means radically rethinking who we are?
Through richly visual writing and a sweeping narrative, Dryad explores how our species might evolve - or perish - when forced to reckon with its own smallness in the cosmos.
At its heart, Dryad is a story about transformation, of people, planets, and perspectives. If you’re a fan of powerful speculative fiction that blends intellect with emotion, this book belongs on your shelf.

New Release!
Inspired by a 1000 word flash fiction I wrote in 2019 (can be found on my Blog), this is a A dark and atmospheric thriller that blends psychological horror, mystery, and speculative sci-fi, The Unravelling of Lizzie Mayhew explores the terrifying cost of memory, identity, and freedom.
When a dead man leaves Lizzie a cryptic note and a parcel he wasn’t meant to have, she’s pulled into a mystery rooted in trauma, secrecy, and a past she can’t quite remember.
A mysterious shooting at the Brimton post office shatters the village’s quiet routine, and soon Lizzie finds herself at the centre of something far stranger than a crime.
As Detective Marla Keen begins her own investigation, both women uncover fragments of a forgotten experiment and the buried horrors of the Brimton Initiative.
The symbols, the voices, the watchers in the woods... they were never imagined. They were suppressed. Now the Ferrymen are stirring, the world is glitching, and something is trying to wake up.
A BIT ABOUT ME
I wasn’t one of those kids who spent hours scribbling stories or buried in books. In fact, as someone with dyslexia, reading and writing never came easy. But I’ve always been a deep thinker, staring up at the stars, wondering why we’re here, imagining what else might be out there.
My mind has always been filled with questions and wild ideas. I used to keep them to myself. Now, through writing, I’ve found a way to share them, and that’s been the greatest joy of all. It’s a privilege to invite you into the world I’ve built, and I only hope my words do justice to the wonder I’ve always felt.
Being neurodiverse hasn’t held me back; it’s shaped the way I see the world. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t fit the mould, like the world wasn’t built for how your mind works, I hope my story reminds you: your unique perspective might be exactly what the world needs most.
So next time you look up at a starlit sky, pause for a moment. Somewhere out there, something might be looking back, wondering the same thing:
Who’s there?
“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will.”
George Bernard Shaw
